Designed in 2000 for the Hudson Hotel in New York, the Hudson is the first collaboration between Emeco and Philippe Starck — which Starck described as "the Navy Chair stripped of its details." It is part of MoMA's permanent collection.

Made to order, by hand, in 80 % recycled aluminium, in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Lifetime warranty.

Recycled aluminium, shaped by hand

Light 3.5 kg structure. TPU glides for every use, indoors and out. Carbon footprint: 12.29 kg CO₂e. Aluminium is naturally fireproof, non-corrosive and non-magnetic.

Two finishes

Brushed aluminium (clear anodised) or hand-polished. Lifetime warranty, with an estimated life expectancy of at least 150 years. Aluminium is infinitely recyclable at the end of its life.
