Collection: Designer table legs: create a unique table

Creating your custom table begins with choosing the base. A table leg is not just a support: it's a structural decision that defines the use, stability, and aesthetics of your future piece of furniture.

Our selection of designer table legs brings together tried-and-tested systems from renowned European manufacturers. From the E2 base inspired by Egon Eiermann to the Sinus trestles by Daniel Lorch, each model meets precise technical requirements while asserting its formal identity.

Choosing the right height

The standard height for a dining table is between 72 and 75 cm. This dimension allows for optimal seating comfort with chairs whose seat height is 45-46 cm.

For a counter or central island, opt for a height of 90-92 cm, compatible with bar stools with a seat height of 65 cm.

The E2 base offers rare flexibility thanks to its multiple configurations.

Aluminium, steel or solid wood?

Aluminum (matte anodized or black lacquered) offers both visual lightness and strength. A non-flammable and non-corrosive material, it is particularly well-suited to heavy-duty use and demanding environments. Beam aluminum legs weigh 40% less than their steel counterparts, while offering equivalent structural rigidity.

Solid wood (oak, ash) provides natural warmth and develops a patina over time. The European wood legs come from sustainably managed forests (FSC/PEFC certified). The wood breathes, improves with age, and blends naturally into residential interiors.

Steel remains a classic in terms of structural qualities

Stability and permissible loads

A well-dimensioned foot system easily supports a 40 kg tabletop and a working load of 100 kg.

For natural stone tabletops (marble, granite) or XXL configurations, opt for the reinforced connectors (size M) of the Beam system or for 6 feet instead of 4.

The supplied pads adapt to the type of floor

Daniel Lorch, designer: Form and function

The Sinus trestles bear the signature of designer Daniel Lorch. Lorch explores the juncture between structure and form: each curve responds to a mechanical constraint, each angle optimizes load distribution. This rational approach produces objects of rare formal clarity.

Arrange your table according to custom

A standard 180 x 90 cm family dining table requires four legs. For tables larger than 200 cm, add two central legs to prevent the tabletop from sagging under the weight of dishes and diners. Three legs are sufficient for a round table. Six legs are necessary for natural stone tabletops (marble, granite) weighing over 60 kg.
