• Versions without internal shelf (free volume) or with internal shelf (two levels)
• Compatible with all Variand rails: standard, magnetic, cork, picture rail, LED, electrified
• Materials: birch multiplex or solid oak, sides in matt white powder-coated sheet steel, stainless steel hinges
• Patented hanging mechanism: the locker only comes off when tilted upwards by at least 20° — tool-free hanging

Dimensions

• MM — width 60 cm, height 42 cm, depth 29 cm
• ML — width 60 cm, height 42 cm, depth 38 cm

Use

Ideal in the entryway (papers, keys, mail without cluttering the wall), in the kitchen (spices, cups, condiments out of sight), in the bedroom (bedside books, night accessories) or in the home office (papers, cartridges, remote controls).

The 29 cm depth (MM) suits books and objects; the 38 cm depth (ML) suits bulkier storage, such as clothes or files.

Load and care

Correctly mounted on an ordinary wall, a Variand shelf module carries up to 15 kg evenly distributed; the wall itself is the deciding factor. The wooden surfaces are protected by a clear water-based lacquer: a soft cloth and a little water are enough, without harsh cleaning products.

Frequently asked questions

Which walls can the rail be fixed to?
Any sound wall: concrete, brick, timber or load-bearing plasterboard. Porous walls in older buildings call for caution; all-purpose screws and wall plugs come with the rails.

Can the installation be changed later?
Yes. All Variand rails and modules are compatible: a module can be added, swapped or moved at any time.
