Revived from the archives

The Navy sofa was first made in the 1940s for the US Navy. Brought back from Emeco's archives and redesigned by Jasper Morrison in 2025, it is still shaped by hand in Hanover, Pennsylvania. A simple, functional and durable design — for indoors and out.

Aluminium and upholstery: a smart combination

A recycled-aluminium frame, both light and extremely durable, shaped by hand. Padded seat and back, dressed in your choice of fabric (Kvadrat Hero Heather, Camira RePlay), leather (Spinneybeck Volo) or Sunbrella Heritage outdoor fabric. The aluminium frame is recycled and endlessly recyclable, and the cushions can be re-covered.

Four coverings selected by Emeco — from recycled polyester to Italian leather, from felted wool to outdoor fabric. Each with its own use and character.

Camira RePlay Zero fabric — recycled polyester

Plastic, a second life

Camira RePlay Zero — 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, hard-wearing and easy to maintain. Colourways Skip, Bounce, Move.

Kvadrat Hero Heather fabric — felted wool

Felted wool, heathered

Kvadrat Hero Heather — a felted wool (97% virgin wool, 3% recycled nylon) with a heathered, matte look, warm and dense. Colourways 113, 143, 233.

Spinneybeck Volo leather — full-grain, tan

A leather that lives with time

Spinneybeck Volo leather — a supple, full-grain Italian leather that develops a patina. Shades Tan, Oatmeal, Black.

Sunbrella Heritage outdoor fabric

Rain or shine

Sunbrella Heritage — solution-dyed acrylic (50% recycled), resistant to UV, water and stains. Indoor and outdoor alike. Colourways Papyrus, Slate, Sky.

Handmade, in Hanover

Every Navy Lounge piece is assembled by hand in Hanover, Pennsylvania, where Emeco has been making its aluminium chairs since 1944. The same gesture, the same exacting standard, passed from welder to welder.
