The Elephant Pouf Lounge brings the spirit of the Elephant series to a small format: legs sculpted from solid chestnut, a soft seat. A discreet occasional piece in a living room, an everyday footrest or extra seating when entertaining — it matches the seat height of the Elephant sofas.

The fabrics

Five upholstery families, from wool knit to recycled denim — each with its own material, hand and character.

Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3 fabric — three-yarn wool knit

Three yarns, a living colour

Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3 — a three-yarn wool knit that makes the colour vibrate at the surface. Dense, springy and highly hard-wearing (100,000 Martindale) — from the living room to high-traffic spaces.

Kvadrat Vidar 4 fabric — wool crêpe weave

Depth, gently

Kvadrat Vidar 4 — a wool crêpe weave with a slightly satiny surface and nuanced tones. Matte, warm and very durable (100,000 Martindale).

Kvadrat Coda 2 fabric — double-layer wool

Two colours woven into one

Kvadrat Coda 2 — two layers of wool in different shades woven together, giving this graphic, textured surface. Understated and durable (100,000 Martindale).

Maharam Mode and Merit fabrics

A warm, flecked surface

Maharam Mode & Merit — two New York fabrics: Mode with its flecked recycled yarn, and Merit with its finer two-tone weave. Understated and hard-wearing.

RE:DENIM fabric — recycled indigo denim

Indigo, a second life

RE:DENIM — recycled denim developed with Factelier for Karimoku New Standard: a dense, matte fabric in deep indigo. An eco-responsible choice (Standard wood only).

Christian Haas

Christian Haas, a German designer, has developed a soft, functional design language for Karimoku New Standard — the Scout series as well as the Elephant sofas. An attention to comfort and to simplicity in just measure.
