A made-to-measure system
The fully modular version of the Castor Lobby Sofa: an archetypal, minimal design, soft cushions on the calm grain of the oak. Seat modules, backrests, integrated tables and corners compose freely, from the living room to a large reception hall.
Solid oak, free composition
Solid Japanese oak frame, clear coating (Pure Oak), quality foams. Base configurations for 1, 2 and 3 seats (70 cm deep, 39 cm seat height), assembled via the Karimoku New Standard configurator. For a bespoke layout, we draw up the matching quote.
A system, not a sofa
The Castor Lobby Sofa System is the fully modular version of the Castor Lobby Sofa: a set of modules on a single solid-oak frame, to compose freely for a living room, a lobby or a reception area.
A few building blocks, endless arrangements
Seats with or without a backrest, optional armrests, integrated side tables and low benches — all in oak, 70 cm deep. Connecting frames join the modules; seats can even face back-to-back around a table.
From a single armchair to a sofa of infinite length
A straight bench, seats facing each other, a double-sided island for a reception hall: the frame stays the same, only the number of modules changes. And the oak structure is as refined from the back as from the front.

The fabrics
Five upholstery families, from wool knit to recycled denim — each with its own material, hand and character.
Three yarns, a living colour
Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3 — a three-yarn wool knit that makes the colour vibrate at the surface. Dense, springy and highly hard-wearing (100,000 Martindale) — from the living room to high-traffic spaces.
Depth, gently
Kvadrat Vidar 4 — a wool crêpe weave with a slightly satiny surface and nuanced tones. Matte, warm and very durable (100,000 Martindale).
Two colours woven into one
Kvadrat Coda 2 — two layers of wool in different shades woven together, giving this graphic, textured surface. Understated and durable (100,000 Martindale).
A warm, flecked surface
Maharam Mode & Merit — two New York fabrics: Mode with its flecked recycled yarn, and Merit with its finer two-tone weave. Understated and hard-wearing.
Indigo, a second life
RE:DENIM — recycled denim developed with Factelier for Karimoku New Standard: a dense, matte fabric in deep indigo. An eco-responsible choice (Standard wood only).
