A line in space

The Sinus trestle embodies the elegance of simplicity: a single round steel tube precisely bent to achieve its optimal structural shape. This clean geometry offers exceptional robustness while maintaining a remarkably light visual appearance.

Its open shape guarantees generous legroom, while the separation from the tabletop offers you total freedom: vary table lengths, reconfigure your space in a few steps, or stack them for space-saving storage.

For permanent installation, a hole drilled under the support pads allows for attachment to the tabletop.

Desk with 2 trestle work tables

Origin of the design: constructive simplicity inspired by a paperclip

The design of the Sinus trestles is based on a fundamental idea: to rethink a table support from the most basic parameters — load-bearing capacity, support, surface — while improving simplicity, material efficiency, stability and flexibility of use.

The initial inspiration came from a simple paperclip , whose shape is obtained by bending a single metal wire to achieve maximum efficiency with a minimum of material. This principle is transposed to an architectural scale: a continuous, rational form, obtained by bending a single element.

This approach guides the entire design of Sinus and gives the trestle its characteristic silhouette, which is legible, balanced and immediately understandable.

An optimized monobloc structure

Sinus trestles are manufactured from a single piece of tubular steel , bent according to an optimized static geometry.
This one-piece design ensures excellent structural rigidity while limiting the use of material.

Thanks to this optimized design, the trestles offer great stability while remaining relatively lightweight and easy to handle. The final shape results from a precise balance between mechanical strength, material efficiency, and formal clarity.

A family of trestles adaptable to different uses

The Sinus range comes in several sizes, allowing you to create configurations adapted to the width and length of the tabletop.
This “family” approach offers great flexibility and allows for the design of balanced tables, suitable for both domestic and professional environments.

Sinus trestles thus constitute a relevant solution for:

  • dining tables,
  • individual or shared offices,
  • meeting tables or collaborative workspaces.

Functional aesthetics

The design of the Sinus trestles is based on a deliberately understated aesthetic.
Every line, every angle and every junction is dictated by function, without superfluous artifice.

This formal neutrality allows for harmonious integration into contemporary, minimalist, or more classic interiors, without imposing a dominant style. Sinus supports the project, rather than constraining it.

Compatible with various trays

Sinus trestles are designed to accommodate a wide range of tabletops, whether they are made of solid wood, plywood, laminate or composite materials.
Thanks to their robust design, they are also suitable for denser materials such as glass or stone, provided they are properly implemented.

For these specific applications, it is recommended to respect the dimensions of the platform and the appropriate interfaces in order to guarantee optimal stability and durability.

Stability, load capacity and ease of use

The geometry of the Sinus trestles ensures excellent vertical load support and reliable stability, even for large platforms.
Their open shape provides ample legroom, enhancing everyday comfort for both home and professional use.

Adjustable pad system and tabletop attachment

The Sinus trestles incorporate an adjustable skid system allowing for precise adjustment on uneven floors.
This device contributes to the overall stability while protecting surfaces and ensuring lasting user comfort.

For installations requiring permanent fixing of the tabletop, a hole is provided under the support pads, allowing the tabletop to be permanently attached to the structure without compromising the visual elegance of the base.

A sustainable and thoughtful choice

Choosing Sinus trestles means opting for a long-lasting solution, capable of adapting to the evolution of uses and spaces.
Their robustness, modularity and timeless aesthetics make them a sustainable alternative to standardized or ephemeral solutions.

Sinus provides a reliable and elegant foundation for projects where functionality, precision, and longevity are essential criteria.

Modularity, stackability and flexible layout

Because the tabletop is separate from the frame, the table's length can be easily adjusted. This modularity allows for quick adaptation of the configuration to different spaces or changes in layout.

Sinus trestles can also be stacked to optimize storage when not in use, making them particularly suitable for flexible environments such as workspaces, meeting places or temporary projects.
