Questions about the Camarade adjustable stool
What stool height fits a 90 cm kitchen island?
For a 90 cm island, the ideal seat height is between 60 and 65 cm. Rule of thumb: leave 25 to 30 cm between the top of the island and the stool seat. The adjustable Camarade covers exactly this range (seat lowers to 59 cm).
What stool height fits a 110 cm bar?
For a 110 cm bar, the ideal seat height is between 75 and 80 cm — same 25-30 cm gap. The adjustable Camarade rises to 78 cm, covering most residential and hospitality bars.
Does the Camarade stool fit both a 90 cm island and a 110 cm bar?
Absolutely. The gas lift adjusts the seat from 59 to 78 cm. Lower it to 60-62 cm for the island, raise it to 75-78 cm for the bar. One stool for both spaces.
Is the stool delivered assembled?
Yes. No setup required — take it out of the box and it is ready to use.
Is the Camarade stool suitable for professional use (cafe, restaurant, hotel)?
Yes. Weighted steel base and solid European beech made by Bastiat (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label) — the build is designed to withstand intensive hospitality use.
What wood is used for the seat?
The seat is made of solid European beech — a dense, fine-grained wood chosen for its hard-wearing surface and the natural warmth of its grain. Each stool is unique thanks to the natural variations in the wood.
