The solid beech backrest
The backrest of the Camarade high stool is not a cosmetic addition. Carved from the same solid beech as the seat, it extends the line of the body and supports every posture — upright, relaxed, sideways.
Its gentle curve hugs the lower back without constraint. And in daily use, it naturally becomes a hanging point for a jacket, a bag, or a scarf.
European solid beech
The Camarade stool's seat is made of solid beech, a wood chosen for its exceptional density and durability. This light-coloured, fine-grained wood offers a surface resistant to everyday wear and tear while retaining its natural beauty over the years. Solid beech brings warmth and authenticity to each piece, with variations in grain that make each stool unique.

The seat of each Camarade stool is made in France by Maison Bastiat, distinguished with the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label. This state-awarded label recognises craft and industrial expertise of excellence, passed down and refined over generations.
Steel base
The base is made of Ø20 mm steel tubing, reinforced by a welded cross brace that ensures impeccable stability. The powder coating provides a finish resistant to scratches and everyday wear.
Available in two shades — burnt sienna and slate — the steel converses with the warmth of beech to create a balance between raw materials and contemporary lines.
