Refund policy and right of withdrawal
Withdrawal period
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a 14-day period from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay any penalty.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by email at fabien.lenaour@antifer.fr indicating your order number. We will arrange the return of the product with you.
Return conditions
- The product must be in new condition, with no signs of use.
- It must be returned in its original packaging, complete, with its accessories and assembly instructions where applicable.
- Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense, except for defective products or items not matching the order.
Refund
Once the product has been received at our warehouse and quality-checked, the refund is processed within 14 days at the latest, using the payment method used for the order.
The refund covers the price of the returned product. Initial shipping costs are not refunded, except for defective products or non-conforming deliveries.
Defective or non-conforming product
If you receive a defective product or one that does not match your order, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence. We cover the full return shipping costs and proceed with an exchange or full refund according to your preference.
Commercial warranty
All our products are covered by a 2-year commercial warranty from the date of purchase (unless stated otherwise on the product page — e.g. lifetime warranty on Emeco aluminium chairs). The terms of this warranty are set out in our Terms and conditions of sale.
United States customers — returns and refunds
The following provisions apply specifically to orders placed from the United States. They complement the policy above with US-specific procedures.
Return window
You may return undamaged, unused items in original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
How to initiate a US return
- Contact us at fabien.lenaour@antifer.fr with the subject line "US Return Request", your order number, and the reason for return.
- We will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return address: ANTIFER, 9 rue Beauregard, 75002 Paris, France.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Include the RMA number visibly on the outside of the package.
- Return shipping is at your cost unless the product was defective on arrival. We recommend insured, trackable shipping — ANTIFER is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
- On receipt and inspection, we issue a refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Refunds cover the product price and the original shipping fee for full-order returns; partial returns refund the product price only.
- If the product was defective on arrival, document with photographs within 48 hours of receipt — return shipping is then prepaid by ANTIFER and the refund covers all shipping costs.
Items not eligible for return
- Made-to-measure or customized products (e.g. our made-to-measure table configurator).
- Products purchased on a Pro contract with explicit acceptance of project-grade conditions.
- Products clearly damaged by misuse or modification after receipt.
US refund timing
Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receipt of returned items. Bank-side processing typically adds 3 to 10 business days depending on the issuer.
Note on resolution
ANTIFER is a small, owner-operated team. We commit to engage with every defect claim sincerely. The customer defines what resolution feels fair; we work from that starting point rather than imposing a formula. Photographs and order number are always the first step.
